Teeth Hurt in the Cold? It is Not Normal

I love the winter, and it has always been a season I look forward to. One year when my favorite season finally arrived and I was ready for fun on the slopes and holiday gatherings, I realized my teeth started hurting when I went outside in the cold. I thought it was weird, but I ignored it thinking it would go away. When the pain persisted, I finally brought it up to my dentist. He said my receding gums were the problem, and that the sensitive roots of my teeth were exposed to more air than they should be. He put me on a dental plan to get my gums back in good health, and a few months later, my teeth felt fine in the cold again! I created this blog to help others experiencing the problem I was.
